So last night, my sister with the 2 daughters were going home, and my younger niece says she wants to talk in private with me. Im like ok... She looks at me and tells me that her mom (my sister) saw my wedding dress and said its ugly and that I should wear something else, why dont I wear it white? why its not pink? etc...

Im not even gonna g through the reasons why the dress isnt a light color (its bronze btw), cos thats not the point... the point is that my sister didnt even have the courtesy to either tell me personally what she thinks, or either for that matter say "she doesnt like it" and not "its ugly". Est modus in rebus, theres a proper way to do everything. Honestly I found the whole thing extremely dejecting for a good number of reasons.

If she told me that she honestly thought that the dark color wasnt appropriate and that she just couldnt like it and she was willing to go see if there was anything I could of liked more, I would have had nothing to be upset about, but coming to know this way (my niece is 8 years old btw...)... I dont know, I found it sad and somewhat a useless harm done to my feelings.
